I'm E. Blanco, an artist and photographer based in Philadelphia.

For the past decade, I've worked primarily as a wedding photographer, making documentary images on film. E. Blanco Studio grew from a desire to expand that photographic practice and explore alternative processes, textiles, and the physical possibilities of images.

Curiosity is the foundation of my practice. Mistakes are encouraged. Trial and error is embraced. At the heart of E. Blanco Studio is a commitment to being a space free from the expectations and pressures we too-frequently put on ourselves as artists.

Alongside my studio practice, I work one-on-one with photographers and artists through mentorships and studio sessions. These conversations are an opportunity to share the tools, processes, and ways of seeing that have shaped my own practice while helping others develop work that feels more personal and intentional.
